Pinacoteca do Ceará | 2023
The new museum opened in the capital of Ceará used ArtQuality's services for the logistics of the exhibition Chico da Silva e a escola do Pirambu, a solo show of the painter. Originally staged at the Pinacoteca de São Paulo, it ran from July to October 2023. ArtQuality collected the works from the São Paulo museum and handled all transport to Fortaleza, as well as the return of the pieces at the end of the run.
With 148 works and curated by Thierry Freitas and Flávia Muluc, the show was considered the largest ever held in tribute to the artist, born in Acre in the 1910s. It included rare drawings from the 1940s, large panels and works produced in the 1960s, among them those that received an honourable mention at the 1966 Venice Biennale.
